The XL100 Heavy Duty is a multi-utility vehicle suitable for heavy-duty usage on multiple terrains. The Heavy Duty moped, essentially, aims at consumers who require a heavy luggage carrier. In terms of design, you have high raised handlebars, spoke wheels, black finish for the engine bay and spoke wheels. The TVS XL Heavy Duty comes powered with a 100cc engine paired to an automatic gearbox.

Exterior Details

The TVS XL100 is a multi-utility and a multi-terrain moped with a durable build. Dimensionally, the multi-terrain moped is 2,020mm in overall length, 750mm in overall width and 1,110mm in height. As for the other dimensions, the ground clearance is 155mm, and the fuel tank capacity is 4-litres. It has a kerb weight of 80kg.

Engine & Transmission

The TVS XL 100 Heavy Duty features a 99cc single-cylinder engine, which churns out 4.3bhp and 6.5Nm of peak torque. The air-cooled unit comes mated to an automatic gearbox. As far as the TVS XL 100 Heavy Duty mileage is concerned, it returns around 67km/l.

Handling

The TVS XL 100 Heavy Duty gets its stopping power from an 80mm drum at the front and a 100mm drum at the rear end. The moped sports a 2.50-16 41L 6PR section tyre at both ends and its suspension duties are handled by a telescopic spring hydraulic at the front and a swing arm with hydraulic shocks setup at the back.

Features

The TVS XL 100 Heavy Duty new model is offered with a monopod instrument cluster, which houses the speedometer while the tachometer has been given a miss. In terms of electricals, the tail lamp and the headlamp are both fitted with conventional halogen bulbs.
